　　Uses

　　Industrial field: Used as a solvent for vegetable oils, resins, and paraffins; employed in the preparation of alkyd resins, emulsifiers, demulsifiers, lubricating oils, and plasticizers; acts as an antifoaming agent in coatings and hydraulic fluids, as well as in synthetic rubber and latex processing; serves as a refrigerant and coolant for heat transfer fluids, and as a viscosity improver.

　　Cosmetics field: PPG400 and others can serve as emollients, softeners, and lubricants, making the skin feel smooth and soft, and improving the spreadability and moisturizing effects of cosmetics.

　　Pharmaceutical field: Commonly used as surfactants, solubilizers, and binders, aiding in the dissolution, dispersion, and stabilization of drugs, and enhancing drug bioavailability.

　　Polyurethane industry: PPG-3000-8000 is primarily used as a component of combined polyethers for producing polyurethane foams, such as furniture sponges and thermal insulation foams; it can also be used directly or after esterification to produce plasticizers and lubricants.
